At what times should the US flag be flown at half-staff?

1) The flag may be flown at half-staff by Presidential proclamation or by your state governor.

2) Your flag can be flown at half- staff upon reliable information that a past or present President or Vice-President has died. The flag should fly at half-mast 30 days for the death of a President and 10 days for the death of a Vice President.

3) On Memorial Day the flag should be displayed at half-staff until noon.
